Jan has more than 15 years of professional experience in the Luxembourg banking and financial services industry.
He has substantial experience in a variety of international, multi-jurisdictional banking and finance transactions, including syndicated lending, investment grade and leveraged acquisition finance, and debt restructuring.
Jan advises his clients on all aspects of local and cross-border real estate and private equity transactions. He has sound experience in leading complex cross-border projects, drafting and negotiating transaction and finance documents, and implementing security packages.
His practice further focuses on structured finance, derivatives, debt and equity securities and other capital market matters and regulatory matters relating to the financial services industry.
Before joining Volckrick & Associates, Jan worked for over 5 years in the Corporate, Banking & Finance practice of top-tier law firms in Luxembourg, for more than 6 years in the Banking & Capital Markets practice of a Magic Circle Firm (including client secondment and secondment to the London office) and for more than 2 years in the legal department of an international central securities depository in Luxembourg.
